Piers Morgan Says Madonna Is Too "Boring" for His Show

Madonna has been described as a lot of things throughout her groundbreaking career, but "boring" is rarely one of them.
But that's exactly the word Piers Morgan (who is getting ready to take over for Larry King and his soon-to-be defunct Larry King Live) used to describe the icon during an interview with the UK's Daily Express.
When asked about who he will have on his upcoming CNN show called Piers Morgan Tonight, the former America's Got Talent judge said, "We have Lady Gaga, so now Madonna is banned from my show."
Why exactly is the sharp-tongued host excluding Madge from his talk show? The 45-year-old goes to say he thinks the singer is "so boring" and that she is "too vegan for TV" -- whatever the heck that means!
Perhaps Mr. Morgan has forgotten about the Material Girl's previous talk show visits, including her infamous chats with David Letterman!
But Madonna, 52, isn't exactly one to take this sort of thing lying down. The star's rep told PopEater.com, "Madonna doesn't know who Piers Morgan is but she's a big fan of Lady Gaga."
