PHOTO: Lauren Conrad Goes Over to the Dark Side

New reality show, new hair! Lauren Conrad has put her beach-blonde locks behind her (much like her days on The Hills) and has debuted a new, darker 'do. 
Sporting long brunette tresses at Wednesday's CoverGirl 50th birthday party in West Hollywood, the fashion designer wowed with her new look.
According to her stylist, Kristin Ess, Conrad has been playing with idea of going darker for months. The 24-year-old reportedly was envious the "Brazilian brown" shades that Mila Kunis and Jessica Biel have been sporting recently.
"It was just time to go for it," Ess told UsMagazine.com. "We've done so many variations of blonde in the past and it's fun to do something new."
The result? A warm brown base with lighter, face-framing highlights, an overall gloss to get Conrad's mane to shine, and one gorgeous-looking girl.
