Phil Collins Announces Retirement

He?s been in the music industry for decades, both as part of Genesis and as a solo artist, and now Phil Collins is looking forward to retiring and spending more time at home.
The ?Tonight? singer took to his website to explain the reasoning and timing behind his momentous decision.
Heading off erroneous rumors, Collins wrote, "Many of the articles printed over the last few months have ended up painting a picture of me that is more than a little distorted."
?[I?m not quitting] because of dodgy reviews or bad treatment in the press... I am stopping so I can be a full time father to my two young sons on a daily basis.?
